Entire Private Home with 1 Bedroom, King Bed, Hot Tub, Parking, View, Available Now

Not accessible and unclean facilities. Positive: Completely private from any other residents. The kitchen had a lot of utensils and some ingredients. There was a coffee bar that was stocked pretty good. The host communicated quickly through text. I could tell that a lot of thought went into decorating and the layout. I liked that we could check in over text and have a key in a lockbox. You get a pretty good view of the skyline and the neighborhood is quiet. Negative: To walk in is a crazy amount of stairs never mentioned or shown and an overgrown bush blocking part of the walkway. This made it difficult for my partner with a disability to navigate safely. I struggled as well. Upon arrival, the room looked like it was left in a hurry. Tools, mops, and kitchen items left around the patio, water in the kettle, and wet laundry left in the machine. Upon turning the heater on, the whole unit smelled like an animal shelter and the smell permeated well after turning it off and opening the windows. The couch was stained and had dog hair all over it. When we tried to use the washer/dryer, it did not dry at all, and the laundry that was in it when we arrived stunk from not drying properly. The rainfall shower head would not work. The patio light would not stay on and the hot tub water was dirty. Our spot in the driveway was taken by a van filled with trash after our first day. It really appears that they tried when first setting up this room and got lazy or just lack experience in housekeeping. I really am not trying to be a hater, but I seriously do not think this was worth the money considering half the amenities did not work or were filthy.

Positive: *La UNICA cosa buena fue el jardín para mi mascota y el pequeño balcon para hacer yoga, pero el olor a eses de la unidad de al lado es bastante fuerte, mantienen mas de 4 perros los cuales sacan esporádicamente y en ocaciones temía que pudieran empujar la puerta de madera que divide una unidad de la otra. La unidad de al lado pertenece a los mismos dueños, NO es de el vecino al que no se le pueda decir nada; por lo consiguiente deberían hacer al respecto. Negative: *Te estacionas en la entrada de la casa, NO es "entire home", es una unidad pequeña, para llegar a ella se suben y bajan escaleras atravesando un pasillo largo, si llevas cosas "pesadas o bastantes" es un pesar. *La calefacción central despide un olor muy desagradable, imposible de usar, por lo que pedi un portátil (el cual muy amablemente nos facilitaron). *Lavadora/secadora hacen las dos funciones en uno mismo; esta muy sucia y no funciona bien. *El lugar en general muy sucio: botella vacía de Coca Cola abajo de la cama, las aspas de el ventilador con una capa gruesa de polvo, las cortinas de la entrada tenían toda la parte de abajo negra y olía muy fuerte a pipí. *El JACUZZI muy sucio, capa de lama en el fondo, tarda 24 hrs en calentarse(si es que se logra), las indicaciones eran: conectar con una extensión adentro de la casa y cerrar la puerta (era la única opción porque afuera no hay enchufe) lo cual se nos hizo muy peligroso pues el cable quedaba pellizcado, así que decidimos tomar algunas de nuestras pertenencias, salir y dejar la puerta entreabierta para dejarlo calentando, solo se pudo lograr esto 2 veces de los 6 días de estancia. *De la cocina no puedo opinar porque con la poca higiene nos dio desconfianza usarla.

Comfortable place that was close to central San Diiego. Positive: Host was informative. Stayed in touch thru email and text. Location was close to the event we were in San Diego for. Negative: No real issues. Only exception was the tub. Little slippery. A shower pad would fix that.
